Moscow, 9 September 2021: Within the programme "Teacher for Russia", twelve teachers were trained to work at Iskitim District schools with support of EPM Group.
Twelve school teachers (from the programme's seventh cohort) completed the training at the Summer Institute to start working at Iskitim District schools on 1 September.
In Linevo, the town where the major local economic mainstay of EPM Group, the Novosibirsk Electrode Plant, is located, two schools, No. 3 and No. 4, had new teachers this year. A new geography teacher came to School No. 4. A new teacher of English, a new primary school teacher and a facilitator were started working at School No. 3.
"Teacher for Russia" is a social programme aimed at offering equal educational opportunities for children living in different regions of Russia. The programme offers an alternative way for different specialists to start a teacher's carrier and includes two years' training and support for its participants. In 2021, "Teacher for Russia" has extended to 95 schools located in seven regions of Russia, where the programme participants teach more than 30 thousand children.
