August 22, 2023: El 6 is developing a reconstruction program for the administrative building No. 6 at El 6 Chelyabinsk. The project includes renovation of the engineering and service infrastructure and repairing production and utility premises. The building will house the analytical laboratory and the plant office employees; it will also accommodate various social and utility facilities: dining room, healthcare center, assembly hall in a single area.

The four-story administrative building No. 6 was built in 1976. It now houses a laboratory, production facilities, and shower rooms. The total floor area of the available premises is more than 10,000 sq.m. 

In 2022, the Company carried out preparatory work: waste removal to enable further use of the premises for utility and social needs.

Under this project, only the supporting structures will be left of the existing building; all other elements require renovation. The layout will be completely changed; old partitions will be dismantled. The building will be equipped with a modern ventilation system. Air exchange will be provided separately for each area: the office, the laboratory, and the canteen.

The space arrangement will take into account all the ergonomic and safety requirements. Employees will enjoy modern IP telephony, broadband Internet access, and completely upgraded equipment. Work is underway to enclose the heat envelope, which is required for carrying out work in winter.

Implementation of this initiative will enable compact accommodation of employees from different departments in the same area, which will significantly facilitate communications between colleagues and reduce the time for moving around the territory. The project will also improve the visual image of the plant. Special attention will be paid to modern and convenient design of the premises.
